Competition Details
- This competition is now open till the 23:59pm - 15th November 2009.
- This competition is completely free of charge and is open to public/schools/universities student.
- 10 finalists work will be showcased during HobbyCon and result will be announced on day -2 of HobbyCon.
- All finalists will be contacted via phone/email, and are required to attend HobbyCon day 2 for the result.
- Finalists who are absent during the the aforementioned will forfeit their spot by default.
- Prizes will be forfeited if the winner (or a representative) does not present him/herself at the prize giving ceremony.
- This competition is open to everyone above 13 years old.
Rules and Regulations
- All character designs MUST be original work.
- There will be no specific theme for the Hobbycon mascot design.
- Any drawing style is acceptable as long as there are no elements that might be deemed inappropriate.
- Offensive or sensitive themes are strictly forbidden (eg. nudity, religion, politics).
- All contestants are required to submit their artwork via email.
- Any file that is too big to be attached to the email can be uploaded to any file-sharing sites (e.g.: mediafire, megaupload and rapidshare) and do include the link to the file in your email. The HobbyCon Committee will then download the file.
- All artworks will become the property of HobbyCon and will not be returned to the artists.
- HobbyCon is free to use the artworks for future purposes but copyright and acknowledgement will be given to the original artists.
- Failure to observe the rules and regulations will result in instant disqualification from the competition.
- Judges' decision is final. Judging will be conducted fairly and there will be no discrimination whatsoever.
- Prizes will be forfeited if the winner (or a representative) does not present him/herself at the prize giving ceremony.
- By entering this competition, the participant has understood and will abide by all the rules, terms and conditions as stated.
